The Hills M2 price depends on the toll point or points your vehicle passes.
From 1 October 2026, Class A M2 charges range from $3.18 to $10.75.
The M2 does not have one flat motorway-wide toll.

M2 Toll Prices Through 30 September 2026
The Class A toll-point prices are:
Windsor Road: $3.76
Pennant Hills Road: $5.32
Herring and Christie Roads: $5.31
North Ryde mainline: $10.64
Lane Cove Road on-ramp: $3.15
M2-NorthConnex connection: $5.32
From 1 October 2026, the published Class A range becomes $3.18 to $10.75.

Where Does the M2 Run?
The Hills M2 is a 21-kilometre east-west motorway.

Delhi Road

How Is the M2 Toll Calculated?
The M2 uses toll points.
A journey can pass one or more charged points. Your account records the applicable charge for your vehicle class.
This means two drivers using different M2 entrances and exits can pay different amounts.
A journey using NorthConnex can create both:
The flat NorthConnex tunnel toll
A separate M2 connection charge

M2 Vehicle Classes
Class A generally covers vehicles no more than 2.8 metres high and no more than 12.5 metres long.
Cars and motorcycles are normally Class A.
Class B covers vehicles exceeding either dimension.
Trailers, caravans, boats, roof loads and raised roofs count toward the measured vehicle dimensions.
How to Pay an M2 Toll
The M2 is electronically tolled and has no cash booths.
You can pay using:
A tag account
A tagless account
A Sydney Pass
Another accepted Australian toll account
If you travelled without a valid payment arrangement, arrange payment immediately and preferably within two days.
A number-plate matching fee can apply when a working tag is not detected.
M2 Toll Reduction From July 2027
A 10% toll reduction is scheduled from 1 July 2027 for longer M2 journeys passing the North Ryde mainline plaza.
The M2-NorthConnex ramp charge is also scheduled to fall by 10%.
This does not mean the separate NorthConnex tunnel toll will fall by 10%.
Do not calculate the future dollar amount from the current M2 toll. Quarterly indexation can occur before the reduction begins.
NSW Toll Relief for M2 Travel
Eligible personal Class A M2 travel can count toward the temporary NSW $50 weekly toll rebate.
The rebate must be claimed through Service NSW. It does not automatically cap individual M2 journeys.
